Fancy getting your hands on our Mug of the Week? Here's the important stuff — no confusing bollocks, just the rules.
01 / Who can enter?
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are excluded.
02 / How to enter
Comment on the current week's official Mug of the Week giveaway post on the What The Mug Facebook page or Instagram account before the closing time. You're welcome to like the post, but a like is not required for entry.
One entry per person per week, across both platforms combined. Multiple comments or entries across both platforms do not increase your chances of winning. No purchase, tag, share or follow is required.
03 / When does it close?
Each week's giveaway closes at 7:00pm UK time every Sunday. Comments received after that time will not be entered. The week's eligible entry period starts when its official giveaway post is published.
04 / What's the prize?
One 11oz ceramic What The Mug mug featuring the design identified as that week's Mug of the Week, with free standard UK delivery. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The advertised design is the prize; no alternative design is guaranteed.
05 / How is the winner picked?
One winner is selected at random from all eligible entries on Facebook and Instagram combined, using a fair random selection process. There is only one winner total each week, not one winner per platform. A record of the draw will be kept.
06 / When is the winner announced?
The winner will be announced at 8:00pm UK time every Sunday on the official What The Mug social accounts, subject to any unavoidable technical interruption. The winner will be asked to contact the official account privately to arrange their prize. We will never ask for payment or card details to claim a prize.
07 / Claiming your mug
The selected winner has 7 days from the announcement to respond and provide a valid UK delivery address. If they do not respond, a replacement winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.
08 / Delivery
Standard delivery to a valid UK postal address is included. We will arrange dispatch after the winner has provided their details and let them know if any unexpected delay arises.
09 / Your privacy
We will use entry information to administer the giveaway and the winner's contact and delivery information to provide the prize. We will not add entrants to marketing lists merely because they enter. We may need to publish limited winner information to demonstrate a valid award, in accordance with UK advertising rules; winners can raise concerns about publication by contacting us. 10 / Fair play & platform rules
Fraudulent, automated or otherwise ineligible entries may be disqualified. We will not change the rules unfairly after entries open. If circumstances outside our reasonable control make a change unavoidable, we will explain it clearly and aim to avoid disadvantaging entrants.
